The new MTNPIG has been reshaped to keep the best parts of the previous design, but to be a little more forgiving and quicker like it’s pig brethren. The addition of the new split tail tech allows for more dynamic turn shape and board flex through turns and still the most aggressive of the Pig series boards. The MTNPIG is designed for high speed turns. Unlike the rest of the Pig series the MTNPIG should be rode in your standard board length as it is not a volume shift board. The half-moon split tail shape helps it sink in deep snow while providing a long effective edge, increasing overall edge hold for sketchy situations. Tapered Linear Quadratic sidecut allows for smooth turn initiation and powerful support through the turn without losing grip. Carbon Slim Walls reduce weight, increase damping and energy transfer to enhance response and stability while Carbon-Infused Glass provides extra pop. The MTNPIG is running wild and fast through the mountains, growing fat on powder, and should only be approached by an advanced rider.

TECHNICAL SPECS
Directional w/ 6mm Taper – Directional Shape is the classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while providing plenty of float in powder and a smoother roll into your carve. 6mm taper makes for easy turning, providing the feel and focus of a directional board without anything holding you back from riding it like a twin.

Tapered Bi-Radial Sidecut – A twin sidecut which allows for the underfoot width of a wide board in the tip/tail width of a standard size. This design provides improved leverage on landings, grip through turns, and stability on flat base.

Performance™ Core – High strength Aspen is combined with Bamboo and lightweight Paulownia wood to provide the perfect balance of strong and light.

Carbon Array 5™ – This power distribution technology provides total board control in every stance location. 5 widespread carbon stringers placed at the binding zone gather input from any stance width and all pressure angles. Rider input is then channeled to the opposing contact point for maximum board control.

Double Impact Plates – Two plates on top of each other are added underneath each binding area to improve compressive strength and prevent board breaks where it matters most. 

Cleave Edge™ Steel – Nearly 50% more steel, delivers unmatched resistance to edge cracking and can be detuned to larger radii.
